The Pearl

Juana believes that the pearl will destroy her and Kino, because Kino's personality is changing just because of that pearl. I mean what if someone steals the pearl, then Kino will think that Juana stole the pearl because she didn't want it in the first place. He will change his personality because he didn't trust anybody just because of the pearl.
